SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER

by Tennessee Williams

Mrs. Venable seeks to silence Catherine after she witnesses her cousin, Sebastian, violently die in Europe and is poised to ruin his reputation. A doctor comes to investigate the case and find out the real story — before sentencing Catherine to a lobotomy.

This production was staged in Coleman Recital Hall, the first time this space was used for a full production. This allowed for some artistic choices, such as the use of practical lighting — such as lamps and flashlights.
