This collage of short plays brings Shakespeare into the modern world — giving fresh new twists on classics. A group of college students muddle through the Bard, a paranoid Desdemona murders her husband, Romeo and Juliet fall in love over a telescope. It all ends with a full food fight between your favorite couples.

This production featured a modernized construction of a traditional, Elizabethan thrust stage (complete with balcony, spiral staircase, and sand pit) designed and constructed by Mike Sanders. This play took submissions from many playwrights, including several student writers. After production, this play was published by Dramatic Publishing, giving several students their first publishing credits.

The playwrights include Janet Allard, Niko Tsakalakos, Constance Congdon, Richard Dresser, Ginna Hoben, Brooke Jennett, Mollie LaFavers, Jon Jory, Jeremy Paden, Valerie Smith, Dean Staley, Justin Wright, and Elizabeth Wong.
